G7UPN/ZL2TPO Chris Jackson が、UoSAT-12が7日後に打ち上げられるという
情報を amsat-bb に書いていました。

ダウンリンク周波数は  437.400MHzです。
解像度10mと40mのカメラを積んでいます。
9600bpsFSKのデジタル中継器だけでなく、
LSバンドを使うアナログトランスポンダーも持っています。
衛星の高度が低いので、Sバンドダウンリンクはかなり強力では
ないでしょうか。楽しみです。

UoSAT-12は、サレー大学の最新の衛星です。来週、バイコヌール宇宙基地から
ICBM（大陸間弾道弾）SS-18を転用したロケットで打ち上げられる予定です。
UoSAT-12には、複数のカメラが搭載されており、そのうち最も解像度の高いもの
の解像度は10mです。VHF/UHFバンドを使うストア＆フォワードのデジタル通信
システムや、LSバンドを使ってトランスポンダー（中継器）兼高速デジタルダウン
リンクも可能です。

>The satellite is considerably larger than UO-22 or TO-31 and carries a

UoSAT-12は、UO-22やTO-31などと比べてかなり大型で、軌道上でハウスキーピング
の実験をするため推進システムも持っています。カメラは、解像度10mの全可視光域
カメラと、解像度40mのマルチスペクトル広角カメラを搭載しています。
Ｓバンドのダウンリンクは、速度1Mbit/sで画像データを送信したり、LSバンドの
アナログトランスポンダーとしても使います。

UoSAT-12が投入される軌道は、軌道傾斜角66度、高度640kmです。ダウンリンクの
周波数は、437.400MHzです。最初の周回では、この周波数でVLSIフォーマットの
テレメトリを9600bpsFSKで送信することでしょう。
