Dear Mikio, dear Hardy,

Please distribute among all satellite-DX-enthusiasts that the
DXpedition 3B6RF - Agalega Island - will be QRV on OSCAR 10 in October
2000.

Mike, DK5MV, and I supported the team with satellite equipment and
know-how and finally made a proposal for their QRV-times on AO10.
This detailled proposal is attached here:

<<3B6RF_Windows_final.doc>>

The 3B6RF-Team accepted the proposal as follows:
"We will be QRV at times marked with PRIO(rity) 1.
We also try to be on AO10 at times with PRIO(rity) 2."
Times with PRIO3 and 4 are only backup.

The PRIO1 times give several perfect windows to JA, VK, EU, SA and NA.
Everybody should be able to work 3B6RF for a new country on AO10.
USA/North American satellite enthusiasts have the most difficult shot,
as windows are short and with very low elevation both ends. Special
attention is planned here!

RS13 or RS15 will be only activated, if AO10 crashes or does not work
at all.

As the 3B6RF-team has the plan to break the QSO-record for DXpeditions
please try to work them on SSB and CW on satellite as well as on any
other band!

Please distribute this satellite-DX-information widely among
interested DXers and satellite friends!

Hardy, please forward this info to the US-guys. I think you have the
better contacts.

Mikio, please forward this info to the JA-friends (JA2ORW,
DX-bulletins,...)

AO10-Satellite-Schedules (Windows and UTC-times)
for 3B6RF-DXpedition in October 2000
Calcutated September 21th 2000 by DJ5MN
Version 2.0 (proposed final version)

Abbreviations: EU=Europe, NA=North America, SA=South America,
down= satellite set (for 3B6), up=satellite rise (for 3B6),
...=satellite also available/accessable before or after mentioned time
 (but with worse conds)
PRIO=priority, 1=extremely necessary to be QRV,
2= most sensefull to be QRV
3= nice, if you have time to be QRV,
                4= backup only
Recommendation:
If I would be the Sat-Op at 3B6RF, I would be QRV 100% of the PRIO 1 time and

if possible also PRIO 2 times!! Please use at least those windows with priorit
y 1 !!
If you cannot be QRV in those orbits, please use those with priority 3 or 4 to

the same part of the world (EU,NA,SA,JA,...)
