Echo was in PSK31 mode for Experimenters Wednesday on 17 November 2004.
After the PSK31 session Echo was switched to the L/S FM repeater mode.
Starting 22 November 2004 Echo will be operating in mode V/S FM
repeater.

Per the suggestions from the ao51-modes email address we will schedule a
Dual FM repeater and a 38k4 digital session in December. We are running
a mode V/S window in November, and that was also a suggestion. The mode
L/U request has also been noted.

To support our friends working on the SSETI Express satellite The
schedule has been changed to allow a mode V/S FM repeater window from 22
Nov through 24 Nov. They will be demonstrating at ESA/ESTEC in Holland,
during their Workshop. Other users have also shown an interest in
running a V/S session.

The Tampa Hamfest is just around the corner! On December 4th and 5th,
2004 the hamfest will be open, and AMSAT will be there! AMSAT's
Executive Vice President Lee McLamb, KU4OS will conduct a forum. Get
the latest news, ask questions and learn how P3E and Eagle are just the
start of AMSAT's new and exciting vision and mission. Drew, KO4MA will
be doing demonstrations on both days on both SSB and FM satellites, and
anyone with an interest in satellites is encouraged to plan on attending
at least one demonstration. The latest offerings from AMSAT will be
available at the booth, including working demos of some of the tracking
programs so you can see before you buy.

There is still a need for some volunteers from the membership to help
out with the booth during both days. You don't have to commit to any
length of time, but your help would be greatly appreciated when you can
give it. If you'd like to help out please drop a note at
ko4ma@amsat.org, or call 727 817 1091. There are lots of places for the
YL/XYL in the nearby area including some of the best beaches in the
world and a _large_ outlet shopping center in nearby Ellenton. If you
want to stay overnight there is reasonable lodging in the area.

Hope to see you there!
