SUNSAT Amateur Transponder operation schedule


SUNSAT's Amateur transponder is operating reliably, and operation is
scheduled as follows. Note that weekday amateur operations may be cancelled
without notice to support the other scientific functions of the satellite.
Morning passes will probably be changed to evening passes as the orbit
changes, as morning passes become too early.

Applications for the Bronze, Silver or Gold awards for contacts via Sunsat
must go to SA Amsat. Applications for QSL cards should still go to the
Sunsat Lab address.

This is the schedule for the week of 11 to 16 April. Times are UTC and
duration of each pass is 14 minutes. Evening passes are selected during
weekdays, but orbital changes cause Sunsat to pass earlier each day, so
users are invited to give feedback on whether they prefer ascending passes
(mornings) or descending passes (evenings)
