* MIR / RS-18 NEWS *
====================
The following Mir and RS-18 (Sputnik-41) Keplerian data element sets were
provided recently by Dr. Dave Larsen, N6CO:

Bruce Paige, KK5DO, pointed out that the "beeps" transmitted by Sputnik-41
are actual recordings of Sputnik-1. The internal temperature is indicated
by a solid tone with no breaks. The beacon also transmits two pre-recorded
messages in three languages. The downlink can be copied on 145.812 MHz FM.
