[jamsat-bb:7698] JAMSAT donates 80.000,00 DM to the P3-D Project

JAMSATがAMSAT-DLに対して80,000DMの寄付を行ったことに対する礼状が、

AMSAT-DLは、P3-Dプロジェクトに対する\4,500,000.-(約DM80,000)の寄付を
受けたことを喜びを持ってご報告します。その寄付はJAMSAT(日本アマチュア
衛星通信協会)のP3-Dを支援してくださる方々の資金によるものです。

AMSAT-DLは、この、今やAO-40となったP3-Dの進行中の活動に向けた、
思いやりがありかつ価値のある寄付金に対して感謝の意を表明します。

JAMSAT会長のJA2PKI/岡本健男氏に対する書簡の中で、AMSAT-DLの会長であり
P3-DのプロジェクトリーダーであるDJ4ZC/Karl Meinzer博士は次のように
述べています。

「ご承知のように、私達は最終的に無事打ち上げを果たす前に長期の遅延を
余儀なくされました。そして、その結果、これまで私達はその資金を広く
薄く引き伸ばさねばなりませんでした。今や、あなた方の真価のある助力により
状況は改善されました。JAMSATの価値ある貢献であるSCOPEカメラを含むAO-40の
任務を加速するための確かな助けとなるでしょう。再度、この支援に寄与して
下さったJAMSATの全ての方々に、私達の大いなる感謝の念を伝えていただく
とともに、その友情と支援に感謝していることをお伝えください」

JAMSATとAMSAT-DLは、このことが進行中のAO-40の活動や将来のプロジェクトに
対する新たな資金をもたらすことが促進されることを期待しています。

JAMSAT donates 80.000,00 DM to the P3-D Project

AMSAT-DL is pleased to report, that it received a donation of 4,500,000
yen (80.000,00 DM) for the P3-D Project. The donation has been funded by
P3-D supporters of JAMSAT, the Japan Amateur Satellite Corporation. 

AMSAT-DL express their gratitude for this kind and substantial
contribution towards the ongoing activities of P3-D, now AO-40. 

In a letter to JAMSAT's President Tak Okamoto, JA2PKI, AMSAT-DL's 
President and P3-D Project Leader Dr. Karl Meinzer, DJ4ZC wrote: 

"As you know, we had to suffer long delays before we finally could
secure the launch, and as a consequence we had to stretch our resources
far and thin to get to this point. Now with your substantial help our
situation is improved. Among other it certainly will help us to speed up
the commissioning of AO-40 including the valuable contribution of
JAMSAT, the SCOPE cameras. So again, please convey our best thanks to
all the people at JAMSAT who contributed with this assistance and let
them know that we appreciate their friendship and support." 

JAMSAT and AMSAT-DL hope that this will accelerates another fund raising
to support the ongoing AO-40 activities and future projects.
