訳:次のサイトに5枚のマルチスペクトル画像を登録してあります。

これらの画像はどれも 500kb以上あります。JPG化したために 画像の質が
少し落ちてしまっていますが、もともとの画像そのままでは全部でおよそ
3.5MBもあることを考えると、JPEG化したほうが好ましいかと思います。
マルチスペクトル画像は、3台の望遠カメラ(NAC. Narrow Angle Camera)
によるデータを合成することによって作成しています。それらはそれぞれ
可視域の緑と赤、そして近赤外の波長域に感度があります。どの画像も、
1020X1020ピクセルで、地上での 100kmX100kmの範囲をカバーしています。
つまり、1ピクセル当りの平均解像度(地上)は 98mとなっています。
赤色の地域は、健康な「緑(植物)」があることを示しています。これは、
葉緑素が近赤外の波長域を強く反射するためです。都心部は一般に青灰色
をしています。領域の中の違う色は (植物のない土地、湿地、若いまたは
成熟した植物などの)状態を表しています。
