Chris G7UPNが、TMSAT-1の近況についてamsat-bbに報告していましたので紹介します。

  本日、TMSATの重力傾斜ブームを伸展させることに成功しました。この作業は、
バンコクの管制局 HS0AMから送られたコマンドによりプログラムされたオンボード
コンピューター（衛星に搭載されたコンピューター）の制御のもとで行われました。
テレメトリによれば、ブーム伸展後の衛星は完全に Eatrh Pointing（地球向き）と
なり、その精度は、垂直からのずれ（oscillation from vertical）の角度が
1.5度以内となっています。また、スピンは毎秒0.6度です。スピンさせているのは、
衛星の熱的な安定化のためです。
  現在、首振り（The libration）は10度ですが、これは（オンボードコンピューター
で動作しているプログラムのひとつである）姿勢安定化プログラムの働きで、徐々に
小さくなっていくはずです。
  １両日中に、姿勢安定化はかなり改善され、衛星に搭載されているペイロードの
動作試験も始められることでしょう。
  送信機は、これまでと同様に、管制局があるバンコクとヨーロッパの上空でだけ
ONにしています。


Today the TMSAT gravity gradient boom was deployed under an automatic sequence on board the spacecraft.  This was commanded from the Bangkok control station HS0AM.
Telemetry data from the deployment showed that the 6.2 meter boom deployed perfectly with less than 1.5 degrees of oscillation from vertical.  The satellite is now stabilised earth pointing and spinning at a rate of 0.6 degrees per second for thermal stabilisation.  The libration rate is currently 10 degrees and this is reducing as the attitude control task controls the stabilization process.

Over the next day or so the attitude will continue to be improved, and testing of spacecraft payloads will commence.

The satellite downlink is still only being used over Bangkok and Europe at this time.
